The Etudes Book 1 is a collection of pieces for solo guitar, suitable for nylon or steel string instruments. Most of the pieces were written as studies for students to aid in a variety of areas of development and to serve as performance material. Performance notes are included with each piece. The difficulty levels vary, but are primarily at the intermediate level. As each student is different, a variety of material is covered.
